What’ll ya have at this Atlanta icon’s 90th birthday bash?

Start saving your breath – there are lots of candles to blow out at The Varsity’s 90^th birthday bash. The restaurant, known for its chili cheese dogs, burgers and the try-it-at-least-once frosted orange, will celebrate nine decades of serving up smiles Aug. 18. As if celebrating a true icon wasn’t legendary enough, the world’s largest drive-in restaurant will serve up menu items for 90 cents all day long.

For upwards of a century, this Atlanta institution has offered quick, delicious meals to Atlantans and others from across the globe. Talk about getting better with age.
