High-concept fashion design meets ancient Chinese tradition when SCAD FASH celebrates the Lunar New Year February 15 at 6PM.

The highlight of the event is “Guo Pei: Couture Beyond,” an exhibit showcasing more than 40 dramatic designs by one of China’s most acclaimed designers. Guo Pei shot to international fame in 2015 when her imperial yellow cape was worn by Rihanna.

The festivities continue with a performance by Chien Hong Lion Dance Troop. The event is free for museum members and SCAD students, faculty and staff. It’s open to the public for $10. The exhibit runs through March 4.
