Education is part of the process

An important step in support of Black Lives Matter is educating yourself, not only on current injustices, but also past. Learning about the history of the civil rights movement and important leaders is vital to protect the future.

The King Center focuses on Dr. King’s philosophy and history. While the center might be closed right now, guests can still visit the grounds, walk past Ebenezer Baptist Church and more.

Located in the heart of Downtown, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights educates visitors not only on American civil rights but global human rights. A virtual series is offered.
