Schools around the nation have rapidly closed in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19, and for kids, it means it’s time to learn at home.
While many districts shift to an online learning module, it may not be possible for everyone (including those with younger children). If that’s the case, consider creating a schedule for your family that will help replace that structure and keep kids mentally engaged.
Some ideas for blocks of time include morning walks outside, academic time for flash cards or study guides, household chores, creative time for art projects, relaxing reading time and more.
