Desperate to make their name in the 1590s, when one playwright was hogging all the attention (we’re looking at you, William Shakespeare), brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom decide they will find success by writing the world’s first musical, a genre the Bard had not attempted.
Nominated for 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, “Something Rotten” is coming to the Fox Theatre with three principal cast members from the Broadway production: Rob McClure as Nick Bottom, Adam Pascal as Shakespeare and Josh Grisetti as Nigel Bottom.
The play runs April 17-21 and is part of the Broadway in Atlanta series.
