The unexpected blanket of snow last Friday may have kept a few folks away from Captain Planet Foundation’s annual Benefit Gala. But the “green carpet” was rolled out for Ted Turner and Jane Fonda, among other celebrities, at the gala that recognizes people for environmental stewardship and raises money to support environment projects. Auction items included eco-luxury experiences.
Actor Mark Ruffalo was in attendance to receive the Superhero for Earth award for his dedication to renewable energy transformation and auction off a pair of Hulk hands. He’s in town reprising his role as The Hulk in “Avengers: Infinity War.”
