Atlanta helps small business score big ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup

by The 100 Companies

Atlanta is rolling out new support for small businesses ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Mayor Andre Dickens, along with leaders from Central Atlanta Progress, Invest Atlanta and Showcase Atlanta, unveiled new initiatives offering marketing grants of up to $5,000, business-readiness loans of $5,000 to $15,000, and Downtown Pop-Up and improvement funds to help owners prepare for the influx of visitors for the matches this summer.

A youth entrepreneurship accelerator will also connect young entrepreneurs with vendor opportunities and training. These programs aim to boost visibility, readiness and long-term success for businesses amid global attention from the World Cup.
