Thanksgiving is a time for friends, family, and giving thanks, but it’s also time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday – collectively regarded as one of the biggest shopping weekends of the year.
During recent years, the weekend has gradually morphed into Black November as retailers have released holiday deals earlier and earlier.
As retailers slash prices to entice customers, many deals aren’t what they appear this year. Because prices have risen, even with discounts consumers are paying more. Despite deals having been offered for weeks, many consumers are holding out hoping for deeper discounts as the annual sale weekend arrives.
