Although another year has come and gone without the SEC putting federally approved investment crowdfunding rules into place, 2014 was still a massive year for crowdfunding as a whole.
In December, we saw the world’s largest peer-to-peer lender, LendingClub, IPO on the NASDAQ. On Kickstarter, over three million people contributed close to half a billion dollars to 22,252 different projects.
While many successful Kickstarter projects raised just a few hundred bucks, many raised well over a million. So what were the biggest successes of the year? Here is my list of the Top 10 Kickstarters of 2014. What’s your favorite?
