This week marked the start of my favorite season. That means pumpkin everything, cooler weather and Oakland Cemetery’s annual fall festival – Sunday in the Park.
Now in its 41st year, the festivities hail from the tradition of bringing picnic baskets and musical instruments (and maybe some adult libations) to the cemetery to celebrate life in what once was one of the only public spaces in Atlanta.
The no-cost celebration on Sept. 29 has a full roster of vendors in the artist market, along with food trucks including Bhojanic, On The Roll, Angelfire7 BBQ and Love at Wurst Sight.
