The art of ‘I SPY’

by katem

Rediscover the thrill of searching for hidden treasures at the High Museum of Art’s “I SPY! Walter Wick’s Hidden Wonders,” on view through Jan. 3, 2027.

The exhibition celebrates the inventive work of Walter Wick, renowned for his iconic, beloved “I SPY” and “Can You See What I See?” books. The largest survey of Wick’s work features immersive, large-scale photographs filled with miniature worlds, optical illusions, search-and-find games and puzzle challenges.

Meticulously designed and hand-built, Wick’s imaginative scenes transform everyday objects into intricate worlds, inviting visitors of all ages to look closer, explore and reconnect with a sense of childhood wonder.
