Grady Health System is expanding emergency care access in south Fulton County with a new freestanding emergency department scheduled to open in June.
Located in Union City, the 20,000-square-foot facility will provide 24/7 emergency services, including imaging, laboratory and pharmacy support. The project is part of Grady South, a larger medical campus planned to address healthcare access challenges in one of metro Atlanta’s fastest-growing areas. Future phases include a medical office building, specialty clinics and a 200-bed hospital.
Officials say the investment aims to reduce travel times for emergency care and improve overall health outcomes for local residents and families.
