Atlanta is gearing up for exciting Earth Day celebrations, with a variety of opportunities to get outside and support sustainability across the city, starting this weekend.
On April 18, the East Atlanta Village Earth Day Fest features a vibrant plant swap, live music and recycled art crafts. And, volunteers will gather at the Kensington MARTA station for a competitive litter cleanup. Festivities continue on April 22 with an interactive scavenger hunt and nature printing at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, while Freedom Park hosts a special evening yoga class.
On April 25, Lenox Square will offer a free electronics recycling drive.
