Elana Meyers Taylor, a bobsled pilot from Douglasville, is the sole athlete representing Georgia on Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
A former softball standout at George Washington University, Taylor began her bobsled career in 2007 and has become an influential figure in bobsledding.
She is a five-time Olympic medalist, having earned three silver and two bronze medals across four Games. She has also won several World Championship medals, including four gold, three silver and three bronze, placing her among the most decorated American bobsledders ever.
The 2026 Winter Games will mark Taylor’s fifth Olympics – we wish her well!
