A first-of-its-kind bike park is coming to Atlanta’s Westside

by The 100 Companies

If you’ve been dreaming of biking closer to home, Atlanta’s first bike park is becoming a reality.

On Jan. 22, Shirley C. Franklin Park came alive as community members, partners and leaders broke ground. With support from Atlanta Beltline, Inc. and Mayor Andre Dickens, construction now begins on a space designed for movement and possibility.

Phase one brings a state-of-the-art asphalt pump track, a bicycle playground for young riders, a skills course and hiking trails. Phase two adds gravity mountain bike trails. ADA-compliant by design, the park welcomes all riders with features that promise confidence, challenge, joy and connection.
