Atlanta has been named the No. 1 city in the U.S. for singles in WalletHub’s latest Best & Worst Cities for Singles study, out of 182 cities analyzed.
Researchers ranked cities using 35 dating-friendly metrics, including the size and balance of the single population, dating opportunities and entertainment options. Atlanta scored highest thanks to its large share of single adults (about 70 percent); an “extremely high” number of attractions, restaurants and nightlife venues; and abundant spaces for socializing and first dates.
The results paint Atlanta as a vibrant hub where singles can meet, mingle and enjoy a lively social scene.
