Two Atlanta chefs have been inducted into the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) Alumni Walk of Fame, recognizing their distinguished achievements in the culinary field.
John Metz, founder of Sterling Hospitality, which includes restaurants like Marlow’s Tavern and the Woodall, joins the ranks alongside another Atlanta-based culinary standout, I. Pano Karatassos, founder and owner of Buckhead Life Restaurant Group.
The induction celebrates graduates whose careers exemplify excellence, entrepreneurship and significant contributions to the food world. And highlights the CIA’s commitment to honoring alumni who transform kitchens and communities alike, while underscoring Atlanta’s growing influence as a hub for culinary talent.
