Atlanta’s Live Nativity Scenes

by

It’s one of the most talked-about birthday celebrations in history. The night Jesus was born.

The nativity is a reminder of what the Christmas season is about. Several Atlanta area churches relive that magical night with a live nativity, complete with costumed characters, angels and animals. The free outdoor plays begin the first week in December and continue through Christmas Eve.

A tradition since 1954, Rock Spring Presbyterian Church’s live nativity scene is December 23-24. The oldest is at Peachtree Lutheran Church, December 9-11. Stroll through Bethlehem at St. John’s United Methodist Church, December 10-11.
