Looking to learn more about the rich history and cultural life in your own backyard? Enjoy complimentary admission at any participating Georgia state historic site on Feb. 9 during Super Museum Sunday, part of the statewide celebration of the Georgia History Festival.
Visitors can learn about buckskin tanning at Kolomoki Mounds, watch Jarrell Plantation’s steam engine at work, walk in the footsteps of Revolutionary War soldiers, translate the Cherokee Nation’s first newspaper, browse a merchants’ row at Wormsloe, climb to the top of an Indian mound and explore endless historic locations.
All locations offer complimentary admission 12-4PM, unless noted otherwise.
