Facial identity

by The 100 Companies

I recently read “Theo of Golden” and “Mona’s Eyes.” Though very different novels, both emphasize the importance of faces. We often judge people by first impressions, yet these books encourage us to look more closely, even before a word is spoken.

Expressions, lines and subtle shifts can reveal emotions words often hide. For Theo, that attention is directed toward real people; for Mona, it is directed toward iconic paintings. In both, studying faces becomes a way to uncover identity and move beyond assumptions.

Ultimately, learning to truly see faces helps us better understand people, whether in life or in art.
