Following up on one of the highest grossing shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the second installment of Virgil Abloh’s (Off-White, Louis Vuitton) “Figures of Speech” is on display at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art through March 8.
The exhibit expands on the previous iteration by showcasing pivotal moments of Abloh’s 20-year career spanning fashion, music, graphic and furniture design. A formally trained architect, his clever commentary on pop culture and consumerism and how he uses his own play on words to turn ordinary objects into figures of speech will make for a thought-provoking visit to the High.
