As temperatures (hopefully) begin to drop, there is nothing better than getting cozy with a good book. These are a few of my picks for the new season:
• “The Secrets We Kept,” by Lara Prescott: A thrilling tale of secretaries turned spies, inspired by a true story.
• “The Testaments,” by Margaret Atwood: The much-anticipated sequel to “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
• “Dear Girls,” by Ali Wong: Heartfelt and hilarious letters to the comedian’s daughters that cover everything they’ll need to know in life.
• “The Dutch House,” by Ann Patchett: A dark fairy tale about two people who cannot overcome their past.
