Word up!

I’ve always loved words. How they sound when spoken, the power of their intent, hearing amazing orators like Obama. It’s one of the reasons I fell into a communications career.

In 2014, I started manifesting a word for the year, a personal mantra of sorts. A 2018 word didn’t come easy. Halfway through the year, still nothing. Then …”forward” appeared.

A powerful, yet complicated, word. Move forward in work, from past hang-ups, over drama. But someone asked me, “What if you don’t have to push to move forward? What if you relax, let yourself be carried forward?” Mind-blown.
