Veteran-Operated Kitchen Feeds Hundreds Daily

by

Big smiles, warm hearts and full bellies are staples in a small kitchen in the heart of Atlanta – serving hundreds in need every morning.

Clyde Corbin, a veteran, and his team of volunteers have served more than 3 million meals out of Clyde’s Kitchen since 1997.

Guests are served hot soup, a warm sandwich, dessert and food to take with them for later. But the work of Crossroads Community Ministries goes beyond meals – offering help obtaining a P.O. box, ID documents required for government assistance and more.

“There’s a lot of hope here; that keeps me going,” Corbin said.
