My family created a bucket list for our 14-year-old labrador, Heidi. She has had a long, happy life and deserves to be spoiled (even more than usual) in her final years.
Heidi won’t be able take a roadtrip or ride in a canoe because the fact is she’s just too fragile. But we can certainly give her lots of delicious food, plenty of cuddles and even satisfy her love of lakes by getting her a baby pool for these hot summer days.
First up was devouring a steak last weekend. She loved it. It’ll be a bittersweet journey. Stay tuned.
