My favorite time to be in Athens is the fall, but when I’m not daydreaming about beating Florida (again), Athfest has my attention.
The three-day music and arts festival begins tomorrow and runs through Sunday, bringing together the best local and regional musicians and artists in downtown Athens.
The weekend features non-stop music, art and food vendors lining the street, and a whole block filled with plenty of activities for kids. For adults, I recommend checking out the Club Crawl. Athfest also raises awareness for AthFest Educates, a nonprofit that provides funding for youth music and arts education.
