Growing up, my family and I would travel back in time to the Renaissance Festival in upstate New York each summer. Armed with a turkey leg and cold lemonade in hand, I was in awe of all there was to see and do.
This year, I can’t wait to head to the Georgia Renaissance Festival in Fairburn to revisit the glory days (my childhood, not the disease- and violence-riddled 1400s).
On weekends through June 2, visit the 32-acre village inside the gates of Newcastle with family or friends for endless fun, food and entertainment in 16th-century England.
