Throw that junk in your trunk and haul your hiney over to the Southeastern Railway Museum’s Caboose Days April 7-8.
Caboose Days celebrates the last car in the train, the crews that lived in them and their role on the railroad. The day of family fun includes a staged hobo encampment, mulligan stew mix-off, scavenger hunt, live music, railroad safety presentation and book launch party for “When Atlanta Took the Train.”
The event is 11AM-4PM both days. Admission is $10/adult, $7/child. For $3 more, guests can ride in caboose pulled by a vintage locomotive.
