Scholarship fund honoring Jovita Moore announced

by The 100 Companies

During its annual conference in August, the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) introduced a newly established scholarship fund in honor of the late, beloved Atlanta journalist Jovita Moore.

Cox Media Group will partner with NABJ to support the Jovita Moore Memorial Scholarship Fund with a $20,000 annual investment which will help support three diverse students and continue Moore’s legacy of helping young men and women achieve their dreams of working in the broadcast journalism field.

Moore, a longtime journalist with WSB-TV, passed away in October 2021, seven months after being diagnosed with glioblastoma, the most common primary brain tumor.
