Georgia’s first professional cricket stadium officially breaks ground

by The 100 Companies

Georgia is welcoming its first professional cricket stadium, located an hour southwest of Atlanta in LaGrange. The venue, LaGrange Cricket Stadium, will be the first privately owned cricket stadium in the country, seating approximately 10,500 spectators and expandable to 25,000.

Minutes from West Point Lake and set within the 45-acre Sola mixed-use development, the ICC-standard facility will also include a FIFA-regulated soccer field, hotel and entertainment spaces. Open-air concourses, multifunctional club lounges, and street-level amenities enable community use outside of matches.

Projected to open in 2027, the stadium is expected to draw international events, including future Cricket World Cup matches.
