I don’t know about you but I’m exhausted. The expected response time on emails, texts and phone calls in our society has turned into nothing short of a nightmare.
Our over-the-top, instant-gratification world has made us all feel like failures if we don’t reply within minutes of contact. I find myself apologizing when I don’t need to and feeling guilty for something I haven’t done wrong.
Perhaps we could push pause for a second, take a breath and give everyone a moment to respond. Because living life instead of rushing through it is so much more important.
