Fairies are taking over this Decatur garden

by katem

Magic is returning to Woodlands Garden for the enchanting 14th Annual Fairies in the Garden from Oct. 10-24.

The free exhibit transforms the eight-acre Decatur woodland into a whimsical world of tiny homes, with intricate fairy dwellings tucked along garden paths and built from bark, twigs, branches, leaves, seed heads and other natural materials. Created by artists from Skyland Trail and Hillside Atlanta, the exhibit features about 10 fairy home sites, including root, stump, fortress and moss fairies – plus the occasional troll under a bridge.

Visitors can also enjoy fairy walks, crafts, yoga, poetry and scavenger hunts throughout the exhibit.
