Former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been named the team’s new President of Football, returning to the organization where he spent the bulk of his NFL career. Ryan steps into the front office role immediately, overseeing all aspects of the Falcons’ football operations.
In his new position, Ryan will be heavily involved in selecting the team’s next head coach and general manager and report directly to owner Arthur Blank.
A Falcons legend and Ring of Honor inductee, Ryan’s leadership and deep knowledge of the game are seen as key assets as the organization aims to build toward sustained success.
