I’m never laughed/been shocked so much at a play in my life. “The Book of Mormon” is a clever, irreverent, unbelievably funny musical and it’s back in Atlanta at the Fox Theatre from June 24-29.
Two Mormon missionaries try to convert the residents of a Ugandan village. Hilarious complications ensue. “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with Robert Lopez wrote the book, music and lyrics.
The play, which opened on Broadway in 2011, has won dozens of awards, including nine Tony Awards.
Check out what’s coming next year in the Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2025/2026 series.
