It’s hard to comprehend the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and the mass destruction across the Southeast. This time so many near and dear to me, from different walks of life, were impacted. Some stranded, some lost their businesses and homes, and some stuck without power and water for days.
Enter more racing thoughts. How prepared are we? What, if anything, can we control? How do we protect ourselves? The extremes in each situation are not only devastating; they bring panicked pauses.
A friend said it best: “The gift is today.” So go lean into those you love, and let’s rebuild.
