Emory University to provide qualifying students free tuition

by The 100 Companies

Emory University will offer free tuition to undergraduates from families earning $200,000 or less beginning in fall 2026, expanding its current program into Emory Advantage Plus.

The initiative covers new and returning students who qualify for need-based aid, and continues Emory’s pledge to meet 100% of demonstrated need for domestic undergraduates and to remove financial barriers. Over four years, Emory expects undergraduate aid commitments to exceed $1 billion, funded through endowment and philanthropy.

Applicants will complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the College Scholarship Service Profile (CSS Profile), with typical family assets considered in eligibility determinations.
