ATL Airport News: Yogurt Bars and Ride Shares

by

No more friendly fake greetings needed. Starting January 1, travelers leaving Hartsfield-Jackson no longer have to pretend to know their driver to take Uber or Lyft home. Both ride-share services will be able to legally pick up passengers from a separate ride-share area.

No more branded peanuts or pretzels for Delta fliers. Complimentary snacks now include Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels, Squirrel Brand peanuts and NatureBox apple cinnamon yogurt bars. Don’t panic: those beloved Biscoff cookies aren’t going anywhere.

Also on board: upgraded blankets, and complimentary beer, wine and spirits and sleep kits on long-haul international flights.
