One of Atlanta’s most overlooked properties is poised for a dramatic transformation.
City leaders recently announced plans to redevelop the former Gun Club Park site, a 44-acre tract on Atlanta’s west side that has remained largely unused for decades. The project, led through a partnership involving Atlanta Urban Development Corporation and Brock Built Homes, calls for affordable and market-rate housing, public green space, trail connections and neighborhood-serving amenities. The redevelopment will also connect to the Proctor Creek Greenway, expanding recreation and mobility options.
If approved as planned, the project could become a model for future community-focused growth and neighborhood revitalization.
