Invest Atlanta is expanding its Anti-Displacement Tax Relief Fund program to provide additional property tax relief to more senior homeowners facing rising housing costs.
The initiative helps eligible long-term residents remain in their homes by covering increases in property taxes above a homeowner’s base amount for up to 20 years, provided qualification requirements are met. The expansion follows increased demand for the program, which supports Atlanta seniors on fixed incomes and helps prevent displacement in rapidly changing neighborhoods.
Previously submitted applicants who were not selected may now be reconsidered, strengthening the city’s commitment to housing stability and preserving legacy communities.
