New Co-Working Space Opening: Is Co-Living Next?

Last week, co-working space Industrious announced it would lease 19,000 square feet in West Midtown’s Stockyards, which is planning for a summer opening. It will be its fourth Atlanta location.

Co-working is not new to Atlanta, but a burgeoning trend hasn’t yet made its way to our city: co-living. In an attempt to “woo Millennials,” developers and startups are launching co-living units for individuals, rather than entire apartments.

“For true 24-hour cities with serious affordability issues, I think this works. We will definitely be watching this trend closely,” said Urban Realty Partners’ Simon Tuohy.
