Atlanta-based developer Columbia Residential, along with Bayou District Foundation, developed Columbia Parc in New Orleans in 2010, and it has since served as a global model for mixed-income communities.
Recently, Columbia Parc was recognized as a finalist for Urban Land Institute’s Jack Kemp Excellence in Affordable and Workforce Housing Award, which honors developments that ensure housing affordability for people with a range of incomes – a topic of national concern as housing prices continue to rise.
Other finalists hail from Delaware, California, Maryland, Minnesota and Washington. The winner/winners will be announced at the ULI Fall Meeting in October.
