Take a look at the street corners lately and you’re likely to see yellow signs with large black letters directing cast and crew to one of the many productions filming in Atlanta.
Beyond zombies (Walking Dead) and vampires (Vampire Diaries), Atlanta has hosted the filming of the newest Captain America, Divergent and Sleepy Hollow, earning the nickname “Y’allywood.” Recently though, another city in Georgia has been catching the film industry’s eye – Savannah.
Amazon is shooting an early 20th-century period drama called Z (its working title) in Savannah, with the new Adam Sandler/David Spade film, The Do Over, already in production.
