With the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina one month away, I’ve been thinking about how I’d be able to recuperate from a disaster. Thankfully, there are others in my community doing more than thinking.
The Farmer Fund, founded this year to serve Atlanta farmers in the face of natural disasters, is hosting a launch party Monday, August 10 at The Cathedral of St. Philip.
Partnering with 12 local breweries and restaurants, the fundraising event will feature food, beer and live music from The Darnell Boys. Guests will also come home with a limited-edition Farmer Fund 2016 calendar. Get tickets here.
