My youngest sister, Alyssa – pictured with me on her wedding day – has Type 1 diabetes. She just posted this on her Facebook page:
“Realized I’ve checked my sugar so much, I can just squeeze my finger and blood comes out. No needle required. 🙁 ”
Because of her and others’ struggle, I’m raising funds for JDRF’s ONE Group. Our goal is to raise over $100,000 to remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives.
