The 100 students per grade in the Upper School at Pace Academy started the school year in the new Arthur M. Blank Family Upper School building. Built by New South Construction, the 75,000-square-foot space includes eight science labs, a College Counseling suite, common area, a fireplace and library. The new building provides double the space of the former facility, which was built in 1961.
New South was able to complete the 15-month project, while also preserving the “Castle,” a former private home that now houses the private school’s administrative offices. Pace funded the $32-million project with its “Aim High” campaign.
