Many City of Atlanta public school students are heading back to school this week in style with notebooks, pencils and backpacks – thanks to the Back to School Bash.
The City of Atlanta hosted the Bash Saturday at the Adamsville Recreation Center, which featured school supplies giveaways, guest speakers, City Council members, refreshments, music, recreational activities and more!
The backpacks and supplies were donated by the event’s hosts including Mayor Kasim Reed and wife, Sarah Elizabeth Langford Reed, Mayor’s Office Constituents Services and Commissioner Andrea Boone, Sherri Dickerson, Sherri Tutt, Hosea Feed the Hungry, Chocolate Fudge Foundation and Joy Rohadfox Construction.
