#GAArtsFuture Advocacy Campaign

by Michael Polzella

Last week, the High Museum of Art and more than a dozen metro Atlanta arts and culture organizations voiced their support for arts funding by initiating the #GAArtsFuture postcard-writing campaign.

The president’s budget plan for the 2018 fiscal year eliminates funding for significant arts initiatives throughout the state of Georgia. “Through our #GAArtsFuture campaign, we invite our stakeholders and champions of the arts to join us to connect with legislators about the importance of arts funding,” said Andrea Brownlee, director of Spelman College Museum of Fine Art.
