Peace. Love. Bracelets: Hope for Cancer Patients

by Michael Polzella

When it comes to picking out a doll, little girls often look for features that reflect what they see in the mirror. But for those who have lost their hair to cancer, that’s not an easy task.

Nonprofit organization Kids Boost has helped Bella Fricker design and sell beaded bracelets to raise money for bald American Girl dolls. She has given dolls to six girls so far.

Kids Boost gives kids ages 8-14 seed money and support to plan and promote a fundraiser for a charity. Click here to learn how to help Bella provide hope for more children!
