If I ever have to move to Mars, I will certainly need a beer – or a keg.
So I was glad to read Budweiser announced at Austin’s SXSW, in a conversation hosted by The Martian actress Kate Mara, the brewery is exploring methods to brew beer in Mars’ zero-gravity environment. The biggest challenge of brewing beer in space is handling the carbonation in zero gravity.
Budweiser Vice President Ricardo Marques stated: “When we can enjoy a few ice-cold Buds on the Red Planet, that will be the moment when we can truly realize our dreams of space colonization.”
