Places to Brunch in Midtown

They had me at the $3 mimosa. That’s reason enough to try brunch at 5 Church. A few other reasons include the hearty A La Brasa, crab cakes with poached eggs, Belgian waffles and an oyster poboy. The biscuits are supersized, stuffed with wild mushroom, asparagus, truffle cream and a sunny-side-up egg. Omelets, sandwiches and a lamb burger round out the menu.

For a unique take on brunch, try Pijiu Belly where omelets come with ground beef and kim-chi, topped with srira-mayo. Try a side of fried grit sticks.

Both restaurants serve brunch Saturday and Sunday.
